With the eLearning Friends (ELFen), the Centre for Learning and Innovation (ZLI) offers a service for lecturers at the FernUniversität in Hagen, where support is provided for a wide range of tasks in the context of digital teaching. The ELFen attend lectures as technical support in Zoom, help to moderate chats in video conferencing tools, make adjustments to Moodle courses and create tutorials according to the lecturers’ specifications.
We are currently looking to strengthen our team and are offering a position of eight hours per week for a period of eleven months, starting on 1 May 2024.
As this is a Student Assistant position, you need to be enrolled at a German university, though the work may be done remotely. If you enjoy immersing yourself in varied tasks, are interested in digital tools and are open to learning the ropes of media-supported teaching, this just might be a job for you.
In this position you would be eligible for the “E-learning Friends” qualification programme, which entails training and certification in aspects of digital teaching.
