IELTS

In this course, you’ll develop the targeted skills needed to perform confidently across all four components of the IELTS exam. You’ll practise working with complex input, expressing yourself with precision, and managing the specific task types you’ll encounter on test day.
Through active engagement in the learning activities, you’ll gain the competence to:

  • Identify and extract detailed information from spoken texts such as interviews, discussions and academic talks
  • Analyse and evaluate ideas in long texts, including arguments, viewpoints and supporting evidence
  • Produce clear, well‑structured written responses for both Task 1 and Task 2, including describing data, outlining processes and presenting reasoned positions
  • Speak fluently and coherently on a range of topics, expanding on your ideas and supporting them with relevant examples

These skills align with the demands of the IELTS exam, and the course supports you in working toward your target band score.

What do students have to say about the course?

The course consists of 12 lessons over a three-month period – typically 90 minutes once a week.  The classes are conducted via Zoom and Moodle, and there is a real teacher at the helm.  With a guaranteed small class size, participants can expect to receive personalised feedback.

The lessons focus on the four key language skills, namely speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The next round of courses runs from  August until the end of October.
