The pilot phase of the studyFIT course English Learning Support: Humanities and Social Sciences has drawn to a close, and as of 1 December 2023, the course is now available to any FernUni students who wish to boost their advanced vocabulary, learn the ropes of Rhetoric and Composition and get to grips with academic writing.
A debt of gratitude is owed to all the students who gave feedback throughout the five-month long pilot phase. It turned out that there were some technical glitches to iron out – hardly surprising in a dynamic course replete with videos, interactive quizzes and texts for download – but the rich content, dynamic format and streamlined pacing received an A+ all around.
