On Wednesday 15 June, FernUniversität in Hagen’s Centre for Learning and Innovation (ZLI) will open its doors to staff, students and all interested parties. What goes into producing instructional videos? What is the One Button Studio? What are these legendary ELFen creatures you keep hearing about? These are just some of the questions to be addressed in a programme jam-packed with interesting snapshots of the innovative approaches to teaching and learning that typify the daily output of the ZLI.
The event starts at 9.30 in room 8, at the Hagen campus, and of course, the studyFIT team will be on site to chit chat with visitors and divulge tid-bits on the latest developments and upcoming events and innovations we have planned for the FernUni student body. Two short writing workshops, at 11.00 and 14.00, might be of particular interest to teaching staff. They will be hosted by Dr Angela Schröder of the FernUni Schreibzentrum, itself a division of studyFIT.
