Hello, hallo, hola and allô! The last Monday of the month is coming up, which means our Language Café is back on. Join us on the 23rd from 6-7pm on Zoom to practise your English, German, French or Spanish in one of our break-out rooms.
It’s completely informal, open to all and there is no need to register. Simply click on this Zoom link at the appointed hour.
In this overview (run time 03:19 mins) we explain why language learning remains essential despite the pervasion of AI and translation tools. Each room in our virtual café is staffed by a language teacher from FU Dortmund or FernUni Hagen, but you won’t be logging in for a lesson at all. Think of the Language Café as you would your favourite neighbourhood coffee shop or smoky bar, where people come together to talk, listen and learn from one another in a relaxed setting.
