Join us for Dr Jitschin’s talk, and be on the right side of history
You are cordially invited to our next English Café online meet-up where Dr Adrian Jitschin, Head of the FernUniversität’s Frankfurt Campus will talk about some of his current research – work at the confluence of History and Sociology. He recently co-edited a volume of essays entitled Norbert Elias’s African Processes of Civilisation – On the Formation of Survival Units in Ghana. Be there when he delves into other aspects of his work; find out how big questions are whittled down to manageable chapters and marvel at how the impact of big historical events is all around us.
It’s a chance to enhance your speaking skills and, at the very least, to improve your listening comprehension.
