Places on our newly rolled out IELTS Preparation courses are selling like hot cakes. The February – April B1 course is now fully booked. However, students can still sign up for the B2 and C1 courses.
FernUniversität in Hagen has unveiled an exciting new course line-up for those looking to enhance their English language skills: three separate IELTS Preparation courses catering to different proficiency levels. Starting from February 2025, the university will provide the following options:
- English B1 – IELTS Preparation Course 09027 (Tuesdays)
- English B2 – IELTS Preparation Course 09029 (Wednesdays)
- English C1 – IELTS Preparation Course 09030 (Thursdays)
These courses are designed for both current and prospective students who wish to improve their English or prepare for the IELTS exam.
Each course consists of 12 lessons over a three-month period, typically 90 minutes once a week, conducted via Zoom and supported by Moodle. Led by experienced language instructor İpek Aksu, a Humboldt University graduate, the courses offer personalised attention through small class sizes of no more than ten students.
The lessons focus on the four key language skills tested in the IELTS exam: listening, speaking, reading and writing. While the courses provide comprehensive preparation for the IELTS exam, they are equally valuable for anyone looking to improve their English language skills in a structured environment.
Upcoming course dates for each level are scheduled for February – April; May – July and August – October. Ten lucky students have already bagged their places in the next B1 course, but if you do not delay you can still sign up for B2 and C1.
