Will AI replace teachers?

Drop by The English Café on 25 November to listen, learn and share your perspectives

We are excited to announce that Dr Judit Háhn, a distinguished senior lecturer of English at the University of Jyväskylä, will be visiting the English Café on 25 November 2024. Dr Háhn is renowned for her expertise in virtual exchange, social presence and multiliteracies. She will deliver a talk entitled ‘Will AI Replace Teachers? Historical and Critical Perspectives on Educational Technology.’

Dr Háhn’s visit promises to be an enlightening experience for all attendees.   She has spearheaded virtual exchange courses with universities in at least a dozen countries from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  She has also published extensively has been recognised with several awards for her innovative approaches to online learning.   We look forward to welcoming Dr Háhn and engaging in thought-provoking discussions about the future of education.


The English Café is a vibrant community space where language enthusiasts gather to participate in enriching discussions and to meet their fellow distance learners.  You need not register.  Simply join us via this Zoom link at 6pm on Monday 25 November.
