The helping hands of a new ELF are needed at the ZLI
With the eLearning Friends (ELFen), the Centre for Learning and Innovation (ZLI) offers a service for lecturers at the FernUniversität in Hagen, where support is provided for a wide range of tasks in the context of digital teaching. The ELFen attend lectures as technical support in Zoom, help to moderate chats during webinars, make adjustments to Moodle courses and create tutorials according to the lecturers’ specifications.
We are currently looking to strengthen our team and are offering a position of 9 hours per week for an initial period of one year, starting on 1 August 2023.
If you are interested in digital tools and media-supported teaching, like varied tasks and would like to work in a motivated team, then the ELFen team is the right place for you.
The successful candidate will be given training and will then be certified. The content of the qualification programme includes knowledge of the core tools such as Moodle and Zoom, an overview of typical tools at the FernUni and basic knowledge of media didactics. In addition, there will be an in-depth examination in an individually chosen focus area.
