Prof Biehl will see out our lecture series this winter
The English Café lecture series will go out in style. Join our final talk this winter when Prof Brigitte Biehl, the Director of the Institute for Professional Development at SRH University of Applied Sciences will give a talk based on her recent publication “Leadership Lessons from the Kardashians”.
Biehl, who was recently awarded a prestigious Venia Legendi, has conducted research that melds traditional management training with insights from the world of art and culture. Her work demonstrates how TV shows and films can help individuals understand effective leadership and develop their own leadership style. Her research aims to empower both employees and line managers to organise leadership and collaboration more effectively.
You need not be a student of Business and Economics to benefit from Biehl’s insights. Everyone has to work in some capacity or another – whether it’s bringing home the bacon, frying it or both. Leadership traits are essential in all spheres of life.
