Calling all learners keen on some cross-continental collaboration

Join our pilot course on leveraging AI for Learning

In what practical ways might you leverage generative AI to assist you in your learning?  Some factors pertain to all students; yet, the specific needs of law students do differ from those of budding computer scientists, and the work assigned to prospective teachers may have little in common with what future bankers have to do.

We have covered many bases in the new course: AI for Learning.  Through video lectures, screencasts, interactive materials and readings, you get to enhance your knowledge and skills in using generative AI in different learning scenarios.

What’s more, this is a hybrid course that starts with two weeks of self-paced study followed by a series of synchronous sessions with participants from the two participating universities: FernUniversität in Hagen (Germany) and Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (Spain).  This is a methodology known as Collaborative Online International Learning, as outlined in this video (run time: 01.58 mins).

What better way is there to banish the distance learning blues?

We expect that the pilot iteration of the course will take around four weeks, starting in mid-April 2026.  If you would like to be considered for participation, please register your interest via the link here, and if you are chosen we will contact you in late March.

Participation in the course is free, for we are piloting a methodology that could later be adopted more widely for some microcredentials within the OpenEU Alliance.
